Fledgling (2025)

Fledgling is an observational portrait of 13-year-old Sam and his father during their dawn birdwatching walks through Hackney Marshes. The film depicts a tender coming-of-age, shaped by nature connection. Through close observation and an immersive soundscape, the film captures a fragile time where childhood gently gives way to adolescence.
